This year is going to be the hardest Mothers Day of all for many of us.
I am a mother of 3, Elijah nearly 18, Noah nearly 16 and Beth 9. For me it's been really worrying how the kids are coping.
Who would have thought that it would be music to my ears hearing the boys chat and laugh with their friends for 8 hours straight on the Xbox on the weekend?
I've decided we all need to be kind on ourselves. If this is the new way they can socialise safely, then for the moment I will let them.
I've found the younger children are quiet happy with playing inside, the odd walk and crappy mum and dad activities we've come up with.
Beth 9 and my step kids 4 yrs and 5 yrs are playing schools right now and I can Beth telling the others "it's time to log into your classes now".
I think I'm going to get lots of drawings for Mothers Day from them this year.
